We know Dad considered Dave as his best friend. The tears in his eyes reflected the flood of great memories accumulated over a life-long friendship with Dad and indeed our entire family. We are forever grateful that Dave had the foresight to introduce Jane and Martin which set in motion all of the wonderful times shared by the Copp and Murphy clans. So many terrific memories - UCC, U of T, football, hockey, Holdroyd gatherings, Go Home Bay, ski days, cold swims in Georgian Bay, visits to Waterloo and Elora. We will all miss Dave, including Kim David, his namesake and godson. We appreciate the interest he always took in our lives. A toast to a life well lived. The Murphy Clan
