The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Darrell Moore can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Terra McDonald
Condolence: I’m so sorry for your loss. I was thinking about Darrell today. Reflecting on my childhood. He was a close family friend through my father. I believe they met through being Beaver and Boy Scout leaders in the 80’s. I was remembering his famous stew! he brought over(early 90’s). He told me it was a new kind of beef! I dug in and started to gobble it up. There’s Darrell, with his ear to ear grin, suppressing his laugh. I asked him what was so funny. He whispered it’s not beef! That was my first time trying seal! I loved hearing his stories. His laughter was contagious. He taught me to respect the land. He was always so warm and welcoming. He always! had a twinkle of joy in his eyes. It’s been 30+ years since I saw him last. Thank you for teaching me about the real value of our land.

Condolence: It was with such sadness that we heard about Darrell's passing. He was way to young to leave this world.
Darrell was our next door neighbor when we lived in Fergus. He was such a great person. Generous and kind. Brittany and Brandon, we are so sorry for your loss.
