Following an illness Neil went to be with his Lord on April 25th, 2007 at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus with his family by his side. Neil Elst of Fergus in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Alice Gaudeau, loving father of Stephon and his wife Sharon of Fergus, John and his wife Patricia of Alma, Francis and his wife Camille of Alma, Robert and his companion Michael of Toronto and Peter and his wife Celine of Blackfalds, Alberta. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Brittany, Benjamin, Jeffrey, Josh, Corey, Jonathan, David, Brandon, Matthew, Devin and Riley.Neil is survived by his sisters Antonia Sytes, Elizabeth Beabais, and Johanna L’Ami. Predeceased by brothers Marinus and John.Resting at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME 280 ST. DAVID ST. S., in FERGUS from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Sunday April 29th, 2007. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph RC Church in Fergus on Monday April 30th at 2:00pm with Father Ian Duffy officiating. Parish Prayers will be held on Sunday April 29th at 8:00pm.
