Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday October 16th, 2023 age 72 years at the Hospice Waterloo, The Gies Family Center. Cherished wife and best friend of Victor Bowyer for 56 years. Loving mother of Kimberly Lapointe (Ben), Robert Bowyer (Wendy), William (Liz) and Sharon Livingston (Jerry). Colleen, was a very proud grandmother to 12 wonderful grandchildren and proud great grandmother to 19 wonderful great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Delford (Hilda), Brian (Fran), and Stan (Giselle) also sadly missed by her sisters Linda (Bill), Karen (Gerard) and Glenda. Colleen is predeceased by her parents Irvin (1973) and Ruth (2008) her brother Delton (2012) and Ronald (2021). Family and friends will be received at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 617 King St. N., Waterloo. (across from Home Depot) on Thursday Oct 19 from 2-4 PM and 5-7 PM. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday October 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Following the reception at the funeral home, the family will process to Rushes Cemetery for the interment service.
