The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Clyde Richardson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Clyde Edward Richardson

Clyde Edward  Richardson
Passed away peacefully on January 31st 2017 surrounded by his loving family, at Groves Memorial Hospital, in his 59th year. Clyde will be sadly missed by his loving wife Nancy of more than 33 years and his children Jessica Richardson(Tony Gennuso) and Jeremy Richardson(Lauren Hird). Also mourning their loss are his siblings Gary Richardson(Carole), Cathy Pemberton and Carol Tafferner, nephews Aaron Brady and Brent Pemberton, nieces Tracy Brady, Trista Brady, Dezeray Clements, Stacey Pemberton, Tori Tafferner and Haley Tafferner. Clyde was predeceased by his parents Clyde Percy Richardson(1981) and Lovey Zane Richardson(1984). Clyde was a loving husband and beloved father who took great pride in providing for his family on all levels. He was a Professional Engineer at The Gund Company Canada, where he enjoyed working for the past 30 years. Clyde enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking and playing hockey and golf. He was a strong, humble man who loved his family more than anything and his generosity and love will be greatly missed. Visitation for Clyde will take place at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus on Friday February 3rd 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral Mass will be held at the St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Fergus on Saturday February 4th at 2pm.
