Obituary for Clarence Earle Moffatt

After a short but brave battle with cancer, "Red" passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Fergus, Ontario with family by his side at the age 85. Red will be lovingly missed by his wife Rena and children, Carol (Roger Bailes), Doug (Dan Wright) and Ronald (predeceased). Dearly missed by grandchildren Jennifer, Justin (Jen) and Andrea. Red was originally born in Regina, Saskatchewan, but raised his family in Don Mills. An avid golfer and curler, Red was a longtime member of the Donalda Club. He retired from a Senior Management position with the Colgate Companies after 37 years of service. Red and Rena then moved to Fergus in 1997 to enjoy their retirement years. Family and friends are welcome to join in a celebration of Red's life on Sunday, November 6th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Recreation Centre in Pine Meadows Retirement Community: 8473 Wellington Road 19, Belwood, ON, 519-787-7000. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation in Red's name would be appreciated by the family. A very special thank you to Marian Timmermans for her support during Red's final days.
