Alexander Novak

My deepest condolences to his family, fans, and friends. I was a big fan of the 80's series "Friday the 13th", and grew up as a boy watching it. Still to this day I find total enjoyment, interest, and captivation of that remarkable science fiction horror & fantasy series exactly because of the Late Mr. Wiggins playing the role of Jack Marshack. This character was not only extremely likable, he was a heroic, wise, well read, and noble man who acted as an older mentor to the younger characters. It was interesting because I thought the show would be a bad remake of the terrible movie series, but I had been delighted as a youth it turned out to be a totally different story with effective drama & acting because of Mr. Wiggins playing the knowledgable all around good guy. The show simply worked because of Louise Anne Robey and the late Chris Wiggins, they were a joy to watch on tv together. My favorite episodes of the series had been where Mr. Wiggins's character had played the crucial protagonist, hero role in "Night Prey", "The Butcher" where Mr. Wiggins showed us through his acting how Jack's character was a military hero in WW2, "The Prophecies", & my other favorite "Wedding in Black" where they filmed the episode in Toronto's beautiful Casa Loma. He made everything believable, and I had hoped the show lasted another season. He will be dearly missed, and I will always remember his fine work. Wish I could have shook his hand. Rest in Heavenly peace.
