Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Aunt, FriendIt is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Christine on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Guelph General Hospital surrounded by her loving Family. Daughter of Gilbert and Eileen Davidson. Loving Wife of James G Gifford. She will be greatly missed by her children - Ashley Collins and Husband Chris, son Ryan, and daughter Emily. She will be sadly missed by her sister Sandra Yakimchick and her Husband Terry their children Ethan and Meghan. By her Brother Alexander Davidson and his wife Lynn, their children Lauren and Matthew. By her Grandmother Isabella Ferguson, and her loving Uncle Peter Ferguson and his wife Carol, their children Susan Moher and her husband Shawn, their children Taylor and Mackenzie, Paul Ferguson and his wife Cheri, his children Cody, Ivory and Jacob. She will be missed by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Jeanette Gifford, and the entire Gifford family. She will be held dear in hearts of her many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends in Scotland, throughout Canada, and those closest to her in Elora who knew her as a creative, artistic, free-spirit. Christine was interred in the Elora Cemetery, in Elora Ontario, on Thursday July 19th. Christine loved Elora. She has left it far, far, too soon. In lieu of flowers, donations in the name of Christine Isabella Davdison-Gifford to the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Foundation, The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital, or a charity of your choice, would be most appreciated by Christine and her Family.
