The family is saddened to announce that Chris passed away at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener on October 17th in his 69th year with his family by his side. Chris was a lifelong resident of Centre Wellington, giving back to community with countless volunteer hours to various organizations and sports. If you saw Chris around town, you could count on a good laugh as he was always known for his stories. Chris had a kind heart, and did as much as he could with and for his kids, grandkids, family, friends and foster kids.

Chris leaves behind his loving wife Deb of 46 years and his wonderful children Aaron, Justin (Courtney), Dana Law (Jeremy) and Andrew. Predeceased by daughter Amy. Special grandchildren Fynn, Makenna and Norah. Son of Doreen Ecclestone & Harold (predeceased) and his siblings Teri Rose (Carl), Mary Cushing (Tom-predeceased), Ted (Chris), Donna Lehman, Kim (Peggy), Brenda Ecclestone (Ross Oates), Robert (Lisa) and sister-in-law Judy McCabe-Smith. Also, mother-in-law Mary Tuck Buchar (predeceased by Bert Tuck and Mike Buchar), sister-in-law Laurie Leighton (Rob) and brothers-in-law Gary (Mary Thompson) and Tim (Lyn Jopp). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

A visitation will be held at the Alma Community Centre on Saturday November 2nd from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life being held at 2:00 pm.
