McConnell, Charles ClarencePassed away peacefully with his family at his side, at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, in his 88th year. Charles will be deeply missed by his wife of 16 years, Irene (Whitelaw) of Arthur. Charles will be sadly missed by his children David (Anna May), Elizabeth Machin (Patrick), Bud Grieves and Victor Gibson (Linda). Charles will be fondly remembered by his loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Charles is survived by his brothers Melville (Cathy) and Donald. Charles was a proud member of the 48th Highlanders, a loyal employee of Beatty Brothers for 36 years and was a man of great faith in God and loved to talk about his Saviour. Funeral Service will be conducted at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus on December 9th, 2005 at 2:00pm, with visitation from 12:00pm. Burial to take place following the Service at Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus. Reception to be held in the Wellington Room at the Funeral Home following the Interment Service.
