Passed away peacefully, following a courageous battle with cancer, with her family at her side at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, in her 64th year. Carol will be forever missed by her loving husband of 37 years Fred Hansen. Greatly missed by her brothers Stanley (Leona) and William (Dianne) and her sisters Jean Hastings, Dorothy McKie and Betty Powell. Also remembered by Fred’s sister Yvonne Greaves and his brothers Glen (Kay), Ronnie (Candice) and Carl. Survived by her extensive extended family. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Tuesday, April 15th, 2008 from 11:00am to 1:00pm, at which time a Funeral Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00pm.
