WITMER, ETON BLAKE:It is with deep sadness that his family announces the passing of Blake Witmer, in his 91st year, on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2006. Beloved husband for almost 63 years of Norma Witmer (nee Harris). Devoted father of Anne Saunders (Bob), David and the late John. Loving Granddad to Jesse, Wendy, Heather, Chaka, Daniel, Colleen and Kathryn. Very proud Great- Grandad of Liam, Emilio, Marcelo and Reese.Blake was born in Howich Township near Fordwich, On, on Nov. 27th, 1915 to Noah Witmer and Priscilla Gedke. He was predeceased by his brother Earl.A celebration of Blake’s life will be held on Saturday, April 29th, 2006 at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St., S., Fergus, On (519) 843 - 3100). Gathering at 12:30 PM, service at 1:00PM. A reception will follow at the Grand Hall in the Recreation Centre, Pine Meadows, Belwood, On.In lieu of flowers a donation to a charity of your choice may be made in Blake’s memory.We are grateful for a long life well lived.
