Obituary for Beverley Phyllis Cole

COLE, Beverley Phyllis

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 25 in Guelph, Ontario at the age of 88. She is survived by sons Thomas (Suzanne), Cameron, Scott (Christina); grandchildren Logan (Elysha), Daniel, Patrick, Sean; and great granddaughter Thea and best friend Kay (David) Bradley. She was predeceased by Thomas Henderson, Sr., Percy Cole and brother David Legg (Danielle).

Beve was an active supporter of the arts in the Fergus-Elora area. She volunteered for several years as a fundraiser and supporter of the Elora Festival and was a proud member of St. John’s Anglican Church. Her voice, and more commonly her laugh, could be heard from a distance whether she was quilting in a church basement or fawning over a neighbour’s dog. If asked what her greatest accomplishment in life was, Bev would probably say her sons. She was fiercely proud of us – our personal milestones, our families, and even our failures. She will be missed.

A small private ceremony will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church in Elora.
