Passed away peacefully at The Extendicare Nursing Home in St. Catherine’s, in her 85th year. Barbara leaves behind her children David (Cyndi), Janice, Karen, Paul (Elise) as well as grandchildren David (Meghan), Amanda, Bodhi and Kailash. Also mourning their loss are her great grandchildren Isabella and David, and her siblings Donald (Joan), Roger (Peggy) and Joan. She is predeceased by her husband James, son Robert and sister Dorothy. Barbara’s family would like to thank the Staff at The Extendicare Nursing Home in St. Catherine’s for their great care of Barbara and they would also like to thank Audrey and The Cottage Gang as well as family and extended family for the great friendships over the years. Visitation will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus, from 1-2pm on Monday April 18th followed by the memorial service being held in the chapel immediately after at 2pm that same day.
