LODWICH, Arthur (Art) It is with great sadness that the family of dear Art announce his falling to sleep in death on Thursday, December 9, 2021. He was the beloved and loyal husband of Donelda (Flewwelling) for 55 happy years and loving father of Laura, Deborah and Sandra. He was a person of faith from childhood, and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on August 25, 1956. Later, Art faithfully served as a congregation elder for decades and found much joy in his worship. Art and Donelda enjoyed family time with their daughters and son-in-law Chris, working together in their legendary garden and enticing birds to the feeders in their back yard. Art had special love for his bees, keeping them and producing honey for 66 years. He will be remembered for his steadfast faith, self-sacrificing kindness to anyone in need, strong work ethic, and interest in all people - he would converse and joke with all he met. Especially will he be remembered for his deep love and care for his family.
