It is with great sadness the family of Arnetta Black announces her passing with family by her side at Groves Memorial Hospital on November 24, 2019 at the age of 84.
Beloved wife and best friend of the late Bill (2008). Loving mother of Bill (Kelly) of Athabasca, Alberta, David (Renate) of Waterloo and Brian (Ann) of Rockwood. Dearest grandmother of Robyn, Kaitlin, Kyle, Tyler, Rachel and Megan. Survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Family and friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 325 St. George St. West in Fergus, on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment of cremated remains will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Guelph. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to The Canadian Diabetes Association, Groves Memorial Hospital Building Fund or to a charity of choice.
