It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew " Andy" Mclean on December 1, 2021. Andrew was born on July 16, 1943 in Ashton-U-Lyne England. Son of the late David McLean and the late Alice McLean. Predeceased by his brothers David and Roddy, and his sisters May and Betty. Loving father to Deborah Cavaco and Gordon McLean. Dear grandfather of Kyle ( Amanda ), Ryan ( Danielle ) and Sarah ( Christian ). Loving great grandfather to Logan. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and cousins back in the UK. Friends may visit with the family at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home 617 King Street N, Waterloo ( 519-888-7700 ) on Saturday December 4, 2021 from 12-2 p.m. A complete funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donation to the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy. Due to Covid-19, masks must be worn at the funeral home and vaccines will be required upon entry by request of the family.
