Obituary for Aline Mary FISHER (Garner)

It is with great sadness that the family announces the unexpected passing of Aline Mary Fisher. Aline passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Groves Memorial Community Hospital on Tuesday April 26th, 2005 in her 83rd year. Aline of Alma, Ontario was a loving wife to the late Ronald William Fisher, cherished mother of Larry and his wife Lois of Elmira, Janice and her companion Frank MacKinnon of St. Jacobs and a special Gramma to her only grandchild Melissa. Aline will be fondly remembered by her brother Jack Garner of St. Jacobs, sister-in-laws Dorothy Rienk and Thelma Doerbecker and brother-in-laws Harold Fisher and Ken and Lois Fisher and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Ronald William Fisher (2004) and her parents Harry and Kathleen Garner. Aline was born in St. Jacobs, Ontario where she worked at Mutual Life until moving to Alma in 1951. Aline was an active member of Alma United Church where she was the organist and choir director for many years. Music and family played a very important role in her life. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 37 Church Street East, Elora on Thursday April 28th 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service to be conducted at the Alma United Church in Alma, Ontario on Friday April 29th 2005 at 2:00 PM. Private interment at the Elora Cemetery.
