Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15th, 2016 in his 99th year. Beloved husband of 76 years to Vivian (nee Rathwell), the true love of his life. Alex is predeceased by his sons Douglas (Marbeth) and Ron (Barbara). He was also an exceptionally caring and loving grandfather to Darcy, Kelly, Sarah, Alexander and great grandfather to Evan, Amelia and Cooper. Visitation will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus, on Wednesday October 19th from 7-9pm. A small service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday October 20th at 2pm.
