Obituary for Alexander Clements

Passed away at the Parkwood Hospital, London, Ontario on Thursday September 25, 2003, aged 93 years. Dear son of the late John and Martha Clements. Alex was born in Tully, Londonderry, Ulster, Northern Ireland, on May 22, 1910. He came to Canada in 1927. Alex served in the No. 12 Squadron of the Royal Air Force. He is predeceased by his siblings Sam Clements, Margaret Forbes (James), John Clements (Annie), William Clements, Maude Rosborough (Andrew), Joseph Clements, George Clements, Mary Jane (Mae) Swanson (Roy), Francis Clements and Annie Lee (William). He is survived by his sister-in-law Jessie Clements (Joseph) and many nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church St., Elora, on Saturday September 27, 2003 from 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 AM. Interment in Elora Cemetery. A reception will follow in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Parkwood Hospital, London or the charity of one's choice as expressions of sympathy.
