A true Blue Grass fan to the end has flown away. Alex Nixon passed away peacefully at his home, Caressant Care in Fergus on Tuesday, September 14,2004 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Jessie (nee Nicol). Dear father of Gord and Donna of Burlington, Jean and John Dzupina of Erin and Sherry and Marty Pattison of Shelburne. Loving Grandfather/Poppa of Tammy Nixon, Troy and Marilee Nixon, Linda and Chris Borg, Jessica, Katrina and Amber Pattison. Proud great grandfather of Connor and Daniel. Dear brother of Mary Nixon, Mildred MacKay, Clara Warren. Special friend of Pauline Calnan of Rochester NY. Predeceased by sister Eva Rennick and brother Jack Nixon.
