It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alex Mackay on Thursday October 19, 2006 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Loving and devoted father of Wendy (Dan), Katherine and Brian. Cherished and proud Grandpa and Papa to Erin, Gregory, Christopher, Brandon, Cynthia, Jennifer, Christine, Sean, Hannah and Dillon. Dearest brother and best friend to Rodger (June). Predeceased by his beloved sister Pauline (Dubois). He will be missed and remembered by his many nieces, nephews and the friends who knew him and whose lives he touched. A long time loyal employee of General Motors. The Saint Agathe Golf course will miss their most avid and devoted member teeing off in the spring. Grateful thanks to the dedicated and compassionate staff of the Jewish General hospital, Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and the Staff at Sunrise of Oakville who are too numerous to mention. A very special thank you to Dr. Corcos, Isabelle Gregoire RN and the urology department at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. There really are angels amongst us. A funeral service was held in Fergus, Ontario on October 21st, 2006.
