Janice, we are so sorry about Alan. He was a kind and gentle man! Will never forget his impressive "Body English" after making a dicey curling shot!!

I have so many memories of my Uncle Al spanning so many years. What I remember most is that he was kind to everyone, a real gentleman. I will remember walking the dogs with him, going on a canoe trip through Killarney Provincial Park with my brother and Aunt Jan, playing card games and dominoes with him, discussing different worldly topics, his love for curling, lawn bowling, wine making, and many Christmas's spent with him and my family. He was also good with my kids, especially my boy, who got a Meccano set one Christmas, and Uncle Al sat with him and played. I am very sorry that he has left us so soon, he will be missed, but never forgotten.

Hi Janice, So sorry to hear about Alan's passing. Remembering the days at the Elora Lawn Bowling Club, sharing a few laughs at the New to You Store and enjoying the gift of wine made by Alan. Thinking of you at this time, Peter and Jane Robertson.
