Peacefully at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, on Thursday, August 18th, 2005 in his 89th year. Aksel will be sadly missed by his wife of 67 years, Mary Marie (Christiansen). Aksel joins his late daughter Linda (2001). Remembered by his children Margaret Parker (Jack), Vaughan (Sandy), John (Marge Vane), Annie Denny (Robert), Inga Shier (Ray) and Joan Palmer (Dave). Fond memories of Aksel will be shared by his 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and by his extended family and many friends. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Sunday, August 21st 2005 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service to be conducted from the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 22nd at 11:00 am. Burial at Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus.
