Obituary for Abraham De Jesus Dauria

Dauria, Abraham De Jesus
1962-2019
It is with heavy hearts, tears and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Abraham, on Friday, November 8, 2019, at the young age of 57. But, even with this reality of sadness and heaviness, and even though his time with us was cut short, we are grateful to have had Abraham in our lives for the time that we did. He was a loving father to Alex and Isaac, life partner to Sonia, dear son to Yolanda and Ramon. He was looked up to and adored by his 4 brothers and 4 sisters. He was thoughtful and had a loving heart for his 19 nephews and nieces. Born in Nicaragua, he had a passion for baiting freshwater sharks, climbing trees and making wicker furniture. Abraham had a great sense of humour and had the ability to light up a room with his contagious laugh. For years he played and coached slo-pitch with Los Tiburones, a family team that he created and took pride in and that he loved playing with his brothers and sisters. And much like a shark, he fearlessly fought brain cancer until his last breath. Abraham, look out for us from above and save us a place beside you for when we meet again. The family will receive their friends for visitation from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday November 12, 2019. at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Homes-Waterloo Chapel, 617 King St. N.
