Condolence: To the Family of Steve. I worked with Steve when I first started at Johnson Controls over 10 years ago. My trips out to work with him became one of my most favourite jobs. We became friends, talking about our lives and families. I was shocked when he called me in February to tell me that he had cancer and I was very sad to hear that he passed away. My family and I will continue to remember you in our prayers, he was a great guy and I will miss him not only as a colleague but a friend.

Condolence: Jean and Family, We are very sorry to hear about Steve's passing. Our Families grew up together. Our parents were close neighbours and friends since the day we moved to the farm 2 km away in the late 50's. My mom's closest friend was Emma. We always jumped in and helped each other without asking. It's just the way it was. Steve, a few years older than Hans and I, was the same. We looked up to Steve as the master of all things mechanical, and he knew how to have a laugh! In later years, Emma would visit my mom while she could still drive. I was with her one day when Emma came to visit, she drove a mint 20 year old car. Wow, Mrs. Longman, where did you get that big rig?, I asked. "Steve takes care of it for me" she simply replied.
