Condolences

Condolence From: Becky Beatty
Condolence: I was so very sorry to learn of Jean's passing. Anyone who knew her knows there will never be another like her. Jean was a women whose amazing energy and big heart was unmatched. From the time I was just older than a toddler, big enough to cross the street from our house to hers up until the last time we met, she would welcome me with loving arms, insist on feeding me, talk and talk. I fell in love with her over and over again any time I could visit her. She brought me great comfort and wisdom at some of my life's most painful times. It was impossible to be around her and not lift your spirit! She never judged me; she taught me acceptance, and she never spoke through rose-colored glasses, which I greatly appreciated. I've felt my entire life she was looking out for me, even after living so far away in Florida now for over 50 years. Once or twice a year I would be happily surprised with a phone call from Jean to light up my day. I am sorely going to miss those calls. I can still see her big smile, throwing up her hands in joy with a little squeal. As she leaves us now, she leaves with us her legacy and essence in her children. Barb, I see so much of her in you, especially your huge heart that I am so very blessed to be a part of. No words can ever really ease your pain, but know that I am here for you, if there is anything I can do. I will remember her and miss her the rest of my life. I am comforted that she is reunited with Lorne. My love and deepest condolences to all of your family. Love, Beck

Condolence: Dear Mary, Barb and family.
I'm so sorry to hear of your moms passing. She was a very good friend to my mom & dad Jane & Colin Clarke as was your father. She was over many times for dinner at 226 Union St Fergus. A gracious lady that always had a smile. A little piece of Fergus just left us.
Regards

Bill Clarke & family

Condolence: Dear Mary and Barb
It seems like forever ago that I met your lovely Mother, a beautiful lady who had nothing but good things to say about anybody.
And Jim says that he had a wonderful visit with Jean last year at the Remembrance Day
celebration at the Legion.
We both thought a lot of her, and are very
sorry for your loss.

Condolence: Jeannie really had a gift for making people (especially me) feel good, and it has been a joy to know her, to share her sense of humour and to listen to her chatting about Lorne - the love of her life.

I am very thankful for her friendship and for bringing Mary and Barbara into the world to be a constant reminder of what a wonderful mother Jeannie was.
