Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener on Sunday March 6th, in her 79th year. Nikki was a private person with friends she selected and if chosen valued a glimpse into her intimate life. With all respect to people she cared for, her closest friends were the dogs and cats she kept and dearly loved often boarding friend’s pets to be included in her circle. She was most at home at the farmhouse where she resided for many years north of Fergus. The rare birds that dropped in to her multitude of feeders, the visits from deer, fox and others made for exciting conversation. She was a hard worker who was still cleaning offices locally until her passing. Nikki will be missed by friends and the animals she loved so much. Most sadly predeceased by an infant daughter many years ago. The visitation for Nikki will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus, on Saturday March 26th from 10-11am followed by the memorial service at 11am that same day in the chapel.
