Unexpectedly at his home in Belwood on March 14, 2015 at the age of 70. Grant was a long time scout leader and recipient of the Silver Acorn Award from Scouts Canada presented for over 50 years of continuous service. Survived by his sisters Donna (Ken) and Susan and his brother Warren and their families. Remembered by his nieces Nola, Alyssa, Samantha and Shannon and his nephews Michael, Luke and Ben as well as his sister-in-law Karen and his scout family. He will be fondly remembered by his caring and close friends Mac and Gail Brown. Grant will be missed by his loyal companion, his beloved dog Shadow. A visitation will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St South, Fergus on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00–9:00 pm.
