Condolence: Sincere condolences in the passing of a great guy I knew many years ago. We went to Elora High and played school sports and later we were in the Rover Crew and enjoyed many projects like the Rover Romps and crazy spring canoeing down the Grand River along side the icebergs. I can still remember climbing up and looking over a bridge on the Grand and Derk and, I'm sorry I can't remember the other paddler hanging onto the bridge abutment in the rushing water with their canoe wrapped around it. A fearless super guy who has left us too soon.

Condolence: Carrie and Family...so sorry to hear this. Though it has been many years since we have connected, I will never forget what an admirable, kind and gentle man Derk was. He adored you Carrie, and loved his boys and the life you lived together. You will have difficult days ahead. Please know that I think of you often, and pray that your many cherished memories will help fill the empty feeling and sadness that overwhelms your heart. I miss you! God bless!
