Peacefully on September 28th, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 78 years. Will be sadly missed by his wife Marion Giles- Brohman. Harvey was predeceased by his first wife Helen Giles (1995). Will be lovingly remembered by his children Heather (Mark) McDonald, Stewart (Stephanie) Giles, Neil (Michelle) Giles and Alvin (Sandy) Giles as well as by his step-children Brenda (Carl) Smith, Richard Brohman, Keith (Charlotte) Brohman and Rosemary (Darcy) Saunders. Always missed by his 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Harvey is survived by his brothers Russell and George and sister Christina, he is predeceased by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Harvey was an employee of Canada Wire for 37 years. Visitation will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church St, Elora on Tuesday, Sept 30th, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 at The Elora United Church, 75 Geddes St, Elora at 1:00 pm.
