Her family sadly announce her passing at Avalon Nursing Home,Orangeville on Thursday, September 25, 2014 in her 101st year. Mary Marie Christiansen, wife of the late Aksel Thomsen (2005) for 67 years. Mary also joins her late daughter Linda (2001). Remembered by her children Margaret (Jack) Parker, Vaughan (Sandy), John, Annie Denny, Inga (Ray) Sheir and Joan (Dave) Palmer. Fond memories of Mary will be shared by her 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren and by her extended family and dear friends. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus, on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held for Mary in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 11:00 am.
