Peacefully taken to His glory in her sleep on Friday, September 12, 2014 in her 85th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Herman (2003) and her son Douglas (1979). Loving mother of Bill Van Veen of Guelph, Pat Van Veen of Carmen, Manitoba, Pete and BettyAnn VanVeen, Wayne and Sam Van Veen, Annette and Eric Van Grootheest, David Van Veen all of Fergus and Brenda and Martin Riesebosch of Beamsville. She will be missed by her 29 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 16th, 2014 from 7:00 – 9:00pm. Burial will take place at Belsyde Cemetery on Wednesday, September 17th, 2014 at 10:00 am – all are welcome. A service will follow at
11:00 am at the Maranatha, Canadian Reformed Church, 600 Belsyde Ave. E, Fergus.
