Obituary for Katherine Edith "Kay" Smith (Cameron)

SMITH KATHERINE “KAY” Served with the Canadian Armed Forces during WW II as a military driver for dignitaries. Following a wonderful active life on Sept 12, 2014 at the Wellington Terrace, Fergus with her family by her side. Kay Smith (nee Cameron) of Fergus in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Smith (2009). Loving mother of Elizabeth (Randy) Graham of Elora and Rebekah (Jim) Dunster of Penetanguishene. Loved grandmother of Garth, Sarah, Meghan, Charlee, Kaylee, Avery, Brooklyn and Tara. Pre-deceased by sisters Jessie Maude, Isabel Henry and brothers Hugh, Jack, Alex and Jim. And step daughter Mary Ellen (Dwight) Wagner. Kay is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and other family members. A life celebration service was held at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 280 St. David St. S. Fergus on Tuesday Sept 16, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with interment at the Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus.
