Peacefully at The Wellington Terrace on Monday, August 11, 2014 aged 87 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Evelyn Soehner (Paton) in 2009. Loving father to Sharon Burns, Brian and his wife Cathy, Brenda and her husband Sandy Skeoch and Gary and his wife Lisa, all of Fergus. Loved grandfather of Jonathon, Allan, Jessica, Kristen, Caleigh, Brandy, Ben, Scott and Aaron. Devoted great grandfather to Elijah, Jake, Brody, Avery, Darwynne, Aidan and Serena. Carl is survived by his sister Lila (Melvin) Hill and sister-in-law Gaye Soehner. He is predeceased by his infant daughter Michelle as well as brothers Tom, Marshall and Ervin Soehner and his sisters Dorothy Arndt and Alice Chamberlain. Carl will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Visitation will be at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home on Thursday, August 14th from 2:00–4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm as well as on Friday, August 15th from 11:00-12:00 with the service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00pm.
